Imposter: Word Game

I made Imposter: Word Game, a simple party game for 3–10 people. Everyone passes one phone around and privately sees either the secret word or “YOU ARE THE IMPOSTER.” Then players describe the word without saying it, interrogate each other, and vote to find the person bluffing. It’s designed for game nights, family dinners, trips, or whenever a group has one phone and a few spare minutes. Features: - Free, ad-free, and playable offline - No accounts or sign-up - Built-in 1–10 minute timer - Group or individual voting - Scoreboard for multiple rounds - Custom word packs - English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese - Available on both iOS and Android - Optional one-time expansion pack

About Imposter: Word Game

Is Imposter: Word Game legit?

Imposter: Word Game was listed on IndieAppCircle in August 2026 by Mvubu Apps, who opened it to independent testers. 2 independent testers have used it since and had their feedback accepted by the maker. It is distributed through its own website at mvubuapps.com. IndieAppCircle is a peer feedback exchange, not a paid-review site: testers earn credits only for feedback the maker accepts, and nobody is paid to be positive. We record what happened here; we do not vouch for a product's business practices.

What platforms does Imposter: Word Game run on?

Imposter: Word Game runs on Android and iOS. The maker built it for a general audience.

Is Imposter: Word Game still looking for testers?

Yes. The maker pays 5 credits for each approved test. Sign in to IndieAppCircle, open the test instructions on this page, try the app and write up what worked, what confused you and what broke. Once the maker approves your feedback the credits are yours; feedback left unanswered for 48 hours is approved automatically.

How do testers review Imposter: Word Game on IndieAppCircle?

Testers are other indie developers. They open Imposter: Word Game, follow the maker's test instructions, and write up first impressions, confusing moments and bugs. The maker reads each write-up and either approves it — which pays the tester — or rejects it. Only approved feedback is counted on this page. There are no star ratings and IndieAppCircle pays nobody to review anything; it is a feedback exchange, not a review site.
