RookTalk

RookTalk is a voice chat app for gaming groups on Windows and Android, with encrypted voice rooms, text chat, friends and private messages. Windows is available from our official website and Android is live on Google Play. We would like feedback on installation, creating or joining a first room, inviting a friend and audio reliability. No account is required to get started.

About RookTalk

Is RookTalk legit?

RookTalk was listed on IndieAppCircle in October 2026 by Support RookTalk, who opened it to independent testers. 1 independent tester has used it since and had their feedback accepted by the maker. It is distributed through its own website at rooktalk.com. IndieAppCircle is a peer feedback exchange, not a paid-review site: testers earn credits only for feedback the maker accepts, and nobody is paid to be positive. We record what happened here; we do not vouch for a product's business practices.

What platforms does RookTalk run on?

RookTalk runs on Android and Windows. The maker built it for a general audience.

Is RookTalk still looking for testers?

Yes. The maker pays 5 credits for each approved test. Sign in to IndieAppCircle, open the test instructions on this page, try the app and write up what worked, what confused you and what broke. Once the maker approves your feedback the credits are yours; feedback left unanswered for 48 hours is approved automatically.

How do testers review RookTalk on IndieAppCircle?

Testers are other indie developers. They open RookTalk, follow the maker's test instructions, and write up first impressions, confusing moments and bugs. The maker reads each write-up and either approves it — which pays the tester — or rejects it. Only approved feedback is counted on this page. There are no star ratings and IndieAppCircle pays nobody to review anything; it is a feedback exchange, not a review site.
