About Canary
Is Canary legit?
Canary was listed on IndieAppCircle in February 2026 by Ben Guez, who opened it to independent testers. 1 independent tester has used it since and had their feedback accepted by the maker (2 tests submitted in total). It is distributed through its own website at singwithcanary.com. IndieAppCircle is a peer feedback exchange, not a paid-review site: testers earn credits only for feedback the maker accepts, and nobody is paid to be positive. We record what happened here; we do not vouch for a product's business practices.
What platforms does Canary run on?
Canary runs on iOS and Android. The maker built it for a general audience.
Is Canary still looking for testers?
Not right now. The listing is closed to new tests because the maker's credit balance no longer covers the 5-credit reward. The 1 approved review stays here as a record. It reopens on its own once the maker tops up — if that is you, sign in and check your dashboard.
How do testers review Canary on IndieAppCircle?
Testers are other indie developers. They open Canary, follow the maker's test instructions, and write up first impressions, confusing moments and bugs. The maker reads each write-up and either approves it — which pays the tester — or rejects it. Only approved feedback is counted on this page. There are no star ratings and IndieAppCircle pays nobody to review anything; it is a feedback exchange, not a review site.
