Feedback from testers
- Jude - Sat, Aug 22, 2026 at 06:54 PM: The app's minimalist and simplistic yet beautiful UI works really well. no distracting elements. I will say I didn't see a single ad. If that's deliberate, cool. If not, maybe look into it. Also, could you add stationary bikes and treadmills? i use those a lot, and i think they're more popular than devs realize
- MrSalsa - Sun, Aug 23, 2026 at 12:24 PM: Thanks for your feedback and glad, you like it so far. Actually I'm aware of including treadmills and stationary bikes, but it's quite hard to track ones "movement". While it is easier on a treadmill where you just keep walking it's worse on a stationary bike. I already had reports from users, complaining, that their movement while riding a real bike outside was not recognized of the app and with less movement, like with a stationary bike, it's even harder + what would you actually want to see from the stationary bike? Only the "steps", as part of your body movement, are possible to recognize, but no real speed or distance unless you would have to add a lot of manual data. We could dig deeper in this topic, if you could share more details about what you are actually missing, or let's say, what you want to see in the end. Cheers
About Simple Stepper iOS
Is Simple Stepper iOS legit?
Simple Stepper iOS was listed on IndieAppCircle in August 2026 by MrSalsa, who opened it to independent testers. 1 independent tester has used it since and had their feedback accepted by the maker. It is distributed through the Apple App Store. IndieAppCircle is a peer feedback exchange, not a paid-review site: testers earn credits only for feedback the maker accepts, and nobody is paid to be positive. We record what happened here; we do not vouch for a product's business practices.
What platforms does Simple Stepper iOS run on?
Simple Stepper iOS runs on iOS. The maker built it for a general audience.
Is Simple Stepper iOS still looking for testers?
Yes. The maker pays 15 credits for each approved test. Sign in to IndieAppCircle, open the test instructions on this page, try the app and write up what worked, what confused you and what broke. Once the maker approves your feedback the credits are yours; feedback left unanswered for 48 hours is approved automatically.
How do testers review Simple Stepper iOS on IndieAppCircle?
Testers are other indie developers. They open Simple Stepper iOS, follow the maker's test instructions, and write up first impressions, confusing moments and bugs. The maker reads each write-up and either approves it — which pays the tester — or rejects it. Only approved feedback is counted on this page. There are no star ratings and IndieAppCircle pays nobody to review anything; it is a feedback exchange, not a review site.
