West-Marches-OS
West Marches OS (working title for the moment) is a web app for running shared economy and inventory workflows in tabletop roleplaying games, such as Dungeons & Dragons or Cyberpunk. Players in these games often evolve a character over several sessions, which may not necessarily be at the same table with the same people. This means someone needs to keep track of how much currency, experience and items everyone has and this usually means a spreadsheet. The players will play the game as they usually would, the app does not replace their character sheet or rulebooks and it doesn't provide maps or content. What it does do is give an easy way for the host to keep track of everything between games (what people have bought or found, as well as attendance and keeping notes) by making it easy for the players and DMs to facilitate these transactions. For the time being I would just like an idea of whether the app makes sense and is intuitive enough for someone to figure it out. It's still in early development. Stack: Next.js, Supabase, deployed on Vercel.
