Curiate
Curiate was designed as an alternative to endless scroll. Discover articles, videos, books, and curated learning paths across the three formats. Curiate provides ways to discover content: Curations and The Feed. Curations often start with an introductory article on a topic, move through a YouTube video, and end on the definitive book on the subject. Browse a public collection of Curations, comment and contribute your own. The feed is not your normal feed. Instead of clickbait attention grabbing content, we focus on finding topics related to your saved content and discovering substantive content on those topics. Further you are in control of the feed. You can mix things up with 'Shift' mode which offers the recommendations of someone similar to you or 'Flip' mode for someone of distinct tastes from you. Interested in getting your friend's feed? Add them on Curiate and your feed will be populated with the recommendations we might give them! Your time spent on the app should reflect your growth across subject areas. We demonstrate that in two ways: a knowledge map that grows with each save and a leveling system tracking your progress across the topics you're interested in.
